BTB UPCOMING BIKE TOUR

Somebody once said, "The bicycle is the best invention of humanity." Somebody may not agree with this notion, but I raise both legs in favor, along with millions of cyclists in this world. For many, the bike has made a huge impact on the whole of their life.

Think about it, it basically consists of  circles, turning other circles powered by a biological engine human.  The concept is so simple, yet ingenious, which is continuously evolving  year by year.

The mountain bike has made it possible for one to climb various mountain ranges,  another has used his road bike to traverse thousands of asphalted kilometers,  someone else is living in the moment of here and now - the essence of life - as he is flying down the mountain side on his downhill bike,  another has decided to pack his partner with the essentials and cross continents, and there are those that simply go from point A to point B on their city bike.  Everyone of these people experience joy and happiness- the perfect symbiosis of human and machine. Persons who have never fallen in love with cycling will never understand that.

After the invention of the automobile and it’s mass production, the bicycle was left in the gutter of consciousness  as an inefficient, slow means of transportation for those incapable of affording a car.
In fact, one of  the fastest most efficient means of intercity transportation is still the bicycle. It is fast, agile, environmentally friendly, and helps the rider in maintaining a good physical condition.

Many people in European countries such as Denmark, The Netherlands, and Germany have begun to recognize this.

Latvia, get over your fears of cars and bad weather, leave behind your prejudices. It’s time to start rolling in the same direction, jump on a bike and start pedaling!

The cogs are turning and musical project BEYOND THE BORDERS is going on it’s second Bike/Music Tour- The BTB Charity Tour 2014. The aim of this tour is to raise funds for our little friends; orphanage children in the tiny village of Ergeme. The bicycle is tied strongly to childhood notions and every single kid thoroughly enjoys going on adventures with his bike, but unfortunately not every child can afford to have one.  All together we can incite a small change. Giving a little we can give a lot to the kids, their future, our future, and a better future for our planet.

Anyone and everyone interested in the project can get into contact via: cyclosapiens@gmail.com

Thoughts, ideas, and proposals are all welcome. It’s hard and sometimes impossible to make a change alone. Together more is possible! Let’s make a small bicycle revolution!!!
